เพราะว่าพระวจนะขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้เลื่องลือออกไปจากพวกท่าน ไม่ใช่แต่ในแคว้นมาซิโดเนียและแคว้นอาคายาเท่านั้น แต่ความเชื่อของท่านในพระเจ้าได้เลื่องลือไปทุกแห่งหน จนเราไม่จำเป็นต้องพูดอะไรอีก

For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
