அப்பொழுது சவுல் தன்னுடைய வேலைக்காரனைப் பார்த்து: நாம் போனாலும் அந்த மனிதனுக்கு என்ன கொண்டுபோவோம்; நம்முடைய பைகளில் இருந்த தின்பண்டங்கள் செலவழிந்து போனது; தேவனுடைய மனிதனாகிய அவருக்குக் கொண்டு போவதற்குரிய காணிக்கை நம்மிடத்தில் ஒன்றும் இல்லையே என்றான்.
