1. ശമൂവേൽ 9:9

പണ്ടു യിസ്രായേലിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ ദൈവത്തോടു ചോദിപ്പാൻ പോകുമ്പോൾ: വരുവിൻ; നാം ദർശകന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോക എന്നു പറയും; ഇപ്പോൾ പ്രവാചകൻ എന്നു പറയുന്നവനെ അന്നു ദർശകൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുവന്നു.‒

(Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
