അതിന്നു ശൗൽ: ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഏറ്റവും ചെറുതായ ബെന്യാമീൻഗോത്രത്തിലുള്ളവനും എന്റെ കുടുംബം ബെന്യാമീൻഗോത്രത്തിലെ സകല കുടുംബങ്ങളിലുംവെച്ചു ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയതുമായിരിക്കെ നീ ഇങ്ങനെ എന്നോടു പറയുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

And Saul answered and said, Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? wherefore then speakest thou so to me?
