Kumuha si Samuel ng isang pinapasusong kordero at inihandog ito bilang isang buong sinunog na handog kay Yahweh. Pagkatapos patuloy na tumawag si Samuel kay Yahweh para sa Israel, at sinagot siya ni Yahweh.
