பெலிஸ்தர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் கையிலிருந்து பிடித்திருந்த எக்ரோன் துவங்கிக் காத்வரை உள்ள பட்டணங்களும் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குத் திரும்பக் கிடைத்தது; அவைகளையும் அவைகளின் எல்லைகளையும் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் பெலிஸ்தர்கள் கையில் இல்லாதபடி, திருப்பிக்கொண்டார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேலுக்கும் எமோரியர்களுக்கும் சமாதானம் உண்டாயிருந்தது.

And the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof did Israel deliver out of the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.
