1-Samuel 7:2

Van de dag af, dat de ark in Kirjat-Jearim verbleef, verliep er een geruime tijd – twintig jaar – en het gehele huis Israëls achtervolgde de Here met zijn klachten.

And it came to pass, while the ark abode in Kirjath-jearim, that the time was long; for it was twenty years: and all the house of Israel lamented after the LORD.
