ശമൂവേൽ ഹോമയാഗം കഴിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ യിസ്രായേലിനോടു പടെക്കു അടുത്തു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ അന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെമേൽ വലിയ ഇടിമുഴക്കി അവരെ പരിഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ യിസ്രായേലിനോടു തോറ്റു.
