1 సమూయేలు 6:9

అది బేత్షెమెషుకు వెళ్లే దారిలో ఈ దేశ సరిహద్దును దాటితే ఆయనే ఈ గొప్ప కీడు మనకు కలిగించాడని తెలుసుకోవచ్చు, ఆ దారిన వెళ్ళకపోతే ఆయన మనకి ఈ కీడు కలిగించలేదనీ, మన దురదృష్టం వల్లనే అది మనకు సంభవించిందనీ గ్రహించాలి” అన్నారు.

And see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Beth-shemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us; it was a chance that happened to us.
