De Levieten hadden de ark des Heren met het kistje, dat daarbij stond, waarin de gouden voorwerpen waren, afgeladen en op de grote steen geplaatst, en op die dag offerden de mannen van Bet-Semes de Here brandoffers en slachtten Hem slachtoffers.
