พระหัตถ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์อยู่เหนือประชาชนอัชโดดอย่างหนัก พระองค์ทรงทำลายเขาและทรงเฆี่ยนเขาด้วยริดสีดวงทวารขั้นรุนแรง ทั้งชาวอัชโดดและเขตแดนของชาวเมืองนั้น
