Och när folket kom till lägret sa Israels äldste: ”Varför har Herren (Jahveh) slagit oss idag framför filistéerna? Låt oss hämta Herrens (Jahvehs) förbundsark från Shilo till oss, så att han kan vara ibland oss och rädda (frälsa) oss ur fiendens hand.”
