അങ്ങനെ ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ പട തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽ തോറ്റു; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു ഓടി; യിസ്രായേലിൽ മുപ്പതിനായിരം കാലാൾ വീണുപോകത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഒരു മഹാ സംഹാരം ഉണ്ടായി.
