તેની પુત્રવધૂ, જે ફીનહાસની પત્ની હતી તે ગર્ભવતી હતી અને તેની પ્રસૂતિનો સમય નજીક હતો. તેણે જયારે એવી ખબર સાંભળી કે ઈશ્વરના કોશનું હરણ થયું છે, તેના સસરા તથા તેનો પતિ મરણ પામ્યા છે, ત્યારે તેણે વાંકી વળીને બાળકને જન્મ આપ્યો, તેને ભારે પ્રસૂતિવેદના થતી હતી.

¶ And his daughter in law, Phinehas’ wife, was with child, near to be delivered: and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken, and that her father in law and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and travailed; for her pains came upon her.
