1. ശമൂവേൽ 3:6

യഹോവ പിന്നെയും: ശമൂവേലേ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു. ശമൂവേൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഏലിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: അടിയൻ ഇതാ; എന്നെ വിളിച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചില്ല, മകനേ; പോയി കിടന്നുകൊൾക എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.
