બીજે દિવસે એમ થયું કે, જયારે પલિસ્તીઓ મૃતદેહો પરથી વસ્ત્રો અને અન્ય ચીજો ઉતારી લેવા આવ્યા, ત્યારે તેઓએ શાઉલને તથા તેના ત્રણ દીકરાઓને મૃતાવસ્થામાં ગિલ્બોઆ પર્વત પર પડેલા જોયા.
