Đa-vít bị sự hoạn nạn lớn, vì dân sự toan ném đá người, bởi hết thảy đều có tâm hồn đầy cay đắng, vì cớ mất con trai và con gái mình. Nhưng Đa-vít được sức mạnh nơi Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời mình.

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
