Come dunque Davide, con la sua gente, fu venuto nella città, ecco, essa era arsa col fuoco; e le lor mogli, e i lor figliuoli, e le lor figliuole, erano state menate prigioni.

¶ So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.
