જયારે દાઉદ તથા તેના માણસો નગરમાં આવ્યા, ત્યારે તે આગથી બાળી નંખાયેલું હતું અને તેઓની પત્નીઓ, દીકરાઓ તથા તેઓની દીકરીઓને બંદીવાન કરાયા હતાં.
