જયારે દાઉદ સિકલાગમાં આવ્યો, ત્યારે તેણે લૂંટમાંથી કેટલીક યહૂદિયાના વડીલોને, એટલે પોતાના મિત્રોને ત્યાં મોકલી અને કહાવ્યું, “જુઓ, ઈશ્વરના શત્રુઓ પાસેથી લીધેલી લૂંટમાંથી આ ભેંટ તમારે માટે છે.”
