เพราะฉะนั้นพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของอิสราเอลจึงตรัสว่า ‘เราพูดโดยความจริงว่าวงศ์วานของเจ้าและวงศ์วานบิดาของเจ้าจะดำเนินต่อหน้าเราอยู่เป็นนิตย์’ แต่บัดนี้พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงประกาศว่า ‘ขอให้การนั้นห่างไกลจากเรา เพราะว่าผู้ที่ให้เกียรติแก่เรา เราจะให้เกียรติ และบรรดาผู้ที่ดูหมิ่นเรา ผู้นั้นจะถูกดูหมิ่น
