மனிதனுக்கு விரோதமாக மனிதன் பாவம்செய்தால், நியாயாதிபதிகள் அதைத் தீர்ப்பார்கள்; ஒருவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவம்செய்தால், அவனுக்காக விண்ணப்பம் செய்கிறவன் யார் என்றான்; அவர்களோ தங்களுடைய தகப்பனுடைய சொல்லைக்கேட்காமல் போனார்கள்; அவர்களைக் கொலைசெய்வதற்கு யெகோவா சித்தமாக இருந்தார்.

If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.
