1 சாமுவேல் 2:22

ஏலி மிகுந்த வயதானவனாக இருந்தான்; அவன் தன்னுடைய மகன்கள் இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்கெல்லாம் செய்கிற எல்லாவற்றையும், அவர்கள் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் வாசலில் கூட்டம் கூடுகிற பெண்களோடு தகாதஉறவு கொள்வதையும் கேள்விப்பட்டு,

¶ Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
