ત્યારે શાઉલ તરત ભૂમિ પર નમી પડ્યો. અને શમુએલના શબ્દોથી બહુ ભયભીત થયો. તેનામાં કંઈ શક્તિ રહી નહોતી; કેમ કે તેણે આખો દિવસ તથા આખી રાત કશું પણ ખાધું ન હતું.

Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.
