తరువాత దావీదు, అతనివారు బయలుదేరి గెషూరీయుల మీదా, గెజెరీయుల మీదా అమాలేకీయుల మీదా దాడి చేశారు. ఇంతకుముందు ఈ జాతులు ప్రయాణికులు నడిచే మార్గంలో షూరు నుండి ఐగుప్తు వరకూ ఉన్న దేశంలో నివసించారు.
