Daudi hakumwacha hai mwanaume au mwanamke ili apate kuletwa Gathi, kwa maana Daudi aliwaza, “Wanaweza kujulisha habari zetu na kusema, ‘Hivi ndivyo alivyofanya Daudi.’ ” Hii ndiyo ilikuwa desturi yake wakati wote aliishi katika nchi ya Wafilisti.
