అప్పుడు సౌలు “దావీదూ, బిడ్డా, నీకు ఆశీర్వాదం కలుగు గాక. నీవు గొప్ప పనులు మొదలుపెట్టి విజయం సాధిస్తావు గాక” అని దావీదుతో చెప్పాడు. అప్పుడు దావీదు తన దారిన వెళ్లిపోయాడు. సౌలు కూడా తన స్థలానికి తిరిగి వచ్చాడు.
