Alzo kwamen David en Abisai tot het volk des nachts; en ziet, Saul lag te slapen in den wagenburg, en zijn spies stak in de aarde aan zijn hoofdeinde, en Abner, en het volk lag rondom hem.

So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.
