I SAMUELE 26:19

Ora dunque, ascolti pure il re, mio signore, le parole del suo servitore. Se pure il Signore è quello che t'incita contro a me, siagli la tua offerta accettevole; ma, se sono gli uomini, sieno essi maledetti davanti al Signore; conciossiachè essi mi abbiano oggi scacciato, acciocchè io non mi tenga congiunto con l'eredità del Signore, dicendo: Va', servi ad altri dii.

Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.
