I SAMUELE 25:39

E, quando Davide ebbe udito che Nabal era morto, disse: Benedetto sia il Signore, il quale mi ha fatto ragione del vituperio fattomi da Nabal, ed ha rattenuto il suo servitore da far male; ed ha fatta ritornare in sul capo di Nabal la sua malvagità. Poi Davide mandò a parlare ad Abigail, per prendersela per moglie.

¶ And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.
