I SAMUELE 25:24

E, gittataglisi a' piedi, disse: Signor mio, sia questa iniquità sopra me; deh! lascia pur che la tua servente parli in tua presenza, e ascolta le parole della tua servente.

And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid.
