અબિગાઈલ નાબાલ પાસે પાછી આવી; ત્યારે તેણે પોતાને ઘરે રાજ ભોજનની મહેફિલ રાખી હતી; તે વખતે નાબાલ ખુશમિજાજમાં હતો. તેણે ખૂબ નશો કર્યો હતો. તેથી સવાર પડતાં સુધી અબિગાઈલે તેને કશું કહ્યું નહિ.

¶ And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal’s heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light.
