1 Samuël 24:4

(24:5) Toen zeiden de mannen van David tot hem: Zie den dag, in welken de HEERE tot u zegt: Zie, Ik geef uw vijand in uw hand, en gij zult hem doen, gelijk als het goed zal zijn in uw ogen. En David stond op, en sneed stilletjes een slip van Sauls mantel.

And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.
