પછી શાઉલ સર્વ ઇઝરાયલમાંથી ચૂંટી કાઢેલા ત્રણ હજાર માણસોને લઈને દાઉદ તથા તેના માણસોની શોધમાં વનચર બકરાંઓના ખડકો પર ગયો.
