సౌలు దావీదును తరమడం మానుకుని ఫిలిష్తీయులను ఎదుర్కొనడానికి వెనక్కి తిరిగి వెళ్ళాడు. కాబట్టి ఆ స్థలానికి సెలహమ్మలెకోతు అని పేరు పెట్టబడింది.
