ดาวิดก็ออกจากที่นั่นไปยังเมืองมิสปาห์ในแผ่นดินโมอับ และท่านทูลกษัตริย์เมืองโมอับว่า “ขอโปรดให้บิดามารดาของข้าพเจ้ามาอยู่กับพระองค์เถิด จนกว่าข้าพเจ้าจะทราบว่าพระเจ้าจะทรงกระทำประการใดเพื่อข้าพเจ้า”
