അനന്തരം ദാവീദ് അവിടം വിട്ടു മോവാബിലെ മിസ്പയിൽ ചെന്നു, മോവാബ്‌ രാജാവിനോടു: ദൈവം എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി എന്തു ചെയ്യും എന്നു അറിയുവോളം എന്റെ അപ്പനും അമ്മയും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു പാർപ്പാൻ അനുവദിക്കേണമേ എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

¶ And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.
