และดาวิดก็ตอบท่านปุโรหิตว่า “ที่จริง ตั้งแต่เราออกไปปฏิบัติงาน ผู้หญิงก็ถูกกันไว้ให้ห่างจากเราทั้งหลายประมาณสามวัน และภาชนะของคนหนุ่มก็บริสุทธิ์ และขนมปังนั้นเป็นอย่างธรรมดาอยู่แล้ว ถึงแม้ว่าขนมปังนั้นถูกชำระให้บริสุทธิ์ในภาชนะแล้ว”
