എന്നാൽ അന്നു ശൗലിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരിൽ ദോവേഗ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു എദോമ്യനെ അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ അടെച്ചിട്ടിരുന്നു; അവൻ ശൗലിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാർക്കു പ്രമാണി ആയിരുന്നു.
