ദാവീദ് പുരോഹിതനോടു: ഈ മൂന്നു ദിവസമായി സ്ത്രീകൾ ഞങ്ങളോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇതു ഒരു സാമാന്യയാത്ര എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ ബാല്യക്കാരുടെ യാത്രക്കോപ്പുകൾ ശുദ്ധമായിരുന്നു; ഇന്നോ അവരുടെ കോപ്പുകൾ എത്ര അധികം ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.
