1 சாமுவேல் 20:2

அதற்கு அவன்: அப்படி ஒருபோதும் வராது; நீர் சாவதில்லை, இதோ, எனக்கு அறிவிக்காமல் என்னுடைய தகப்பன் பெரிய காரியமானாலும், சிறிய காரியமானாலும் ஒன்றும் செய்வதில்லை; இந்தக் காரியத்தை என்னுடைய தகப்பன் எனக்கு மறைப்பானேன்? அப்படி இருக்காது என்றான்.

And he said unto him, God forbid; thou shalt not die: behold, my father will do nothing either great or small, but that he will shew it me: and why should my father hide this thing from me? it is not so.
