இப்படி யோனத்தான் தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தோடு உடன்படிக்கைசெய்து, தாவீதுடைய எதிரிகளின் கையிலே யெகோவா கணக்குக் கேட்பாராக என்று சொல்லி,

So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require it at the hand of David’s enemies.
