1 சாமுவேல் 20:12

அப்பொழுது யோனத்தான் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவை முன்னிட்டு தாவீதைப் பார்த்து: நான் நாளையோ மறுநாளிலோ என்னுடைய தகப்பனுடைய மனதை அறிந்துகொண்டு, அவர் தாவீதின்மேல் தயவாக இருக்கிறார் என்று கண்டும், அதை அப்போது உமது செவிகளுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தும்படி, உமக்குச் சொல்லியனுப்பாமலிருந்தால்,

And Jonathan said unto David, O LORD God of Israel, when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time, or the third day, and, behold, if there be good toward David, and I then send not unto thee, and shew it thee;
