પછી શાઉલે યોનાથાન ઉપર ક્રોધાયમાન થઈને તેને કહ્યું, “અરે આડી તથા બળવાખોર સ્ત્રીના દીકરા! તને પોતાને શરમાવવા માટે તથા તારી માતાની ફજેતી કરવા માટે તેં યિશાઈના દીકરાને પસંદ કર્યો છે, એ શું હું નથી જાણતો?
