എല്ക്കാനെക്കു രണ്ടു ഭാര്യമാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഒരുത്തിക്കു ഹന്നാ എന്നും മറ്റേവൾക്കു പെനിന്നാ എന്നും പേർ; പെനിന്നെക്കു മക്കൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഹന്നെക്കോ മക്കൾ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു.

And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
