तब हन्ना गर्भवती हुई और समय पर उसके एक पुत्र हुआ, और उसका नाम शमूएल1:20 शमूएल: अर्थात् परमेश्वर ने सुन ली: क्योंकि वह प्रार्थना के उत्तर में उत्पन्न हुआ था। रखा, क्योंकि वह कहने लगी, “मैंने यहोवा से माँगकर इसे पाया है।”

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.
