அந்தச் சிங்கத்தையும் அந்தக் கரடியையும் உம்முடைய அடியானாகிய நான் கொன்றேன்; விருத்தசேதனமில்லாத இந்தப் பெலிஸ்தனும் அவைகளில் ஒன்றைப் போல இருப்பான்; அவன் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய இராணுவங்களை நிந்தித்தானே என்றான்.

Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
