1 Samuël 17:23

Toen hij met hen sprak, ziet, zo kwam de kampvechter op; zijn naam was Goliath, de Filistijn van Gath, uit het heir der Filistijnen, en hij sprak achtereenvolgens die woorden; en David hoorde ze.

And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them.
