ആകയാൽ ദാവീദ് ഓടിച്ചെന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യന്റെ പുറത്തു കയറിനിന്നു അവന്റെ വാൾ ഉറയിൽനിന്നു ഊരിയെടുത്തു അവനെ കൊന്നു, അവന്റെ തല വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു. തങ്ങളുടെ മല്ലൻ മരിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ കണ്ടിട്ടു ഓടിപ്പോയി.
