และซามูเอลตอบว่า “มาอย่างสันติ เรามาถวายสัตวบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ จงชำระตัวของท่านให้บริสุทธิ์ และขอเชิญมาที่การถวายสัตวบูชากับเรา” และซามูเอลก็ชำระตัวเจสซีและบุตรชายทั้งหลายของท่านให้บริสุทธิ์ และเชิญเขาเหล่านั้นให้ไปยังการถวายสัตวบูชา

And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.
